The Fire Department will stand by when a large pile of debris on the Radonavitch Farm on Chase Road, is set on fire on Thursday after- noon between five and six. The ‘baseball diamond at Chase activity as the boys from Chase sharpen their batting eyes. The men who helped put the diamond in shape deserve the commendation of the community. The State Highway Department has not yet renewed the yellow traffic lines on the Larksville Moun- tain and the Chase Roads. Toluba Taking Basic At Fort Dix Pvt. Anthony E. He will serve for six months, then be transferred to hometown duty with a National Guard unit or Army Reserve. Afer the initial eight weeks, he will receive two weeks of leave, then enter eight weeks of advanced training at Fort Dix, then be enrolled in a specialist school or sent to an- other Army post for advanced train- ing. Toluba, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs, a Girl Scouts To Make Lollipops For Lib. Auction Mrs. Walter Kozemchak, chair- man of the library auction candy booth, has announced that the nineteen Girl Scout troops and their leaders of the Dallas district will make lollipops again this year for the candy booth. The scouts made 1214 lollipops last year, This year, in addition to the Dallas girl scouts, the Shavertown and Trucksville girl scouts and their leaders have agreed to make lollipops and contribute them to ‘the booth.
