The People need Highways for safety, comfort and
convenience. Industry needs Highways to move its
raw materials and finished goods in and out of Lu-
zerne County. Flack sponsored and voted for “the
N. E. Extension of the Pa. Turnpike,” Anthracite
Expressway, Keystone Shortway and Harvey’s Lake
Highway.
The Highway Trailer and Mobile Home Industry
(the present Governor wanted to rule them off the
roads). Also, Flack saved the attempt to pass a tax
on pensions, savings accounts, stocks and real es-
tate. Flack voted No! No! No! No!
Seniority and successful leadership are most im-

to Luzerne County a top place on the State’s most
important committees.
