C. (Cleve) LaBar on the Kit- circulatory trouble. Hope he will be out soon. i ON A HOT TIN ROOF Well, I had a little throat treuble, doctor looked in, saw a cyst there. Gave me medicine to get rid of infection then I went back to him. He in turn called up a doctor in Wilkes- Barre and teld him I would be in to see him. Warned him I was like a “cat on a hot tin roof’ — which pretty well des- cribed my near attempt to land my breakfast in his lap during examination. So to Wilkes- Barre I went and reported to the receptionist, “Tell the doc- tor the cat on a hot tin roof is here”. By and by he took a look and called up the first doc- tor to discuss whether the “thing” should come out. Then he asked me, “Do you want me to cut it open and scrape it?” |and now we heard it all’ put to- | | gether, complete with orchestra. | | You must hear it when it jis sung | | again in St. Stephen’s, Wilkes-Barre, {May 20.
