Wilbur Major
Services for Wilbur Majér, 89,
were conducted Monday from the
Glova Funeral Home, with burial
tat Marsh Cemetery, Rev. David
Morgan and Rev. John Gordon, past
and present ministers of Alderson
Methodist Charge, officiating.
Mr. Major, for 31 years a resi-
dent of Kunkle, died Friday morn-
ing at General Hospital, where he
had been admitted a day earlier.
For many years a farm worker,
| he was born in Lehman, son of the
late John and Sarah Nevel Major.
His wife Ada died in January of
11960, a son Aaron two months
| later.
He leaves a daughter, Florence
i Klimeck, with whom he resided at
{ Kunkle; two grandchildren and five
| greatgrandchildren; several nieces
| and nephews.
| . Pallbearers were Corey Besteder,
{ George Landon, Fred Dodson, Philip
| Kunkle, Willard Lansbury, and Mich-
| ael Novajosky.
Passover Observance
Began Wednesday Night
Jewish people throughout the

dawn. The last two days of Pass-
{ over will start on Tuesday at Sun-

of next week concluding services will
be held.
Jewish families celebrate the Pass-
