The scholarship award, sponsored by National Science Foundation, could have been cashed in at Brown or at University of Pennsylvania. Parry was also named as alternate winner at University of West Virg- inia and Virginia University. His subject will be the Chemical Bond Approach in Chemistry, lead- ing to a master’s degree. Parry ob- tained his B. S. degree at Muhlen- berg in 1957. For the past five years he has taught at Council Rock High School in Newtown. Moving from Kingston to Trucks- ville with his parents, when he was in the fifth grade, he complet- ed elementary schoo! and Westmore- land High School, winning both eighth grade and senior class Ameri- con Legion awards.
