Mrs. Lubinski came to the States from Germany when she was eight years - old and settled with her family in = Nanticoke where her father worked in the mines. She was twice married, both times to miners. After the death of her first husband, Valentine, who was killed in the mines, she married Joseph Lubinski and moved with him to j the Obidiah Davenport farm at Loy- alville. That was forty-five years ago. She now keeps house for Henry Trumbower at Loyalville.
