The 7th Biennial Pennsylvania State YMCA-sponsored United Nations Model Assembly took place in the Forum of the State Educational Building March 2 and 3. Four hundred and twenty- five delegates from local Tri-Hi-Y Clubs and their advisors, from all sections of the state, participated in this colorful event in costume, as they have done every other year since 1947. Delegates from this area included Kay Williams and Sandra Yellitz of the Lake-Noxen Tri-Hi-Y Club, and Mary Ann Morningstar and Carol Owens of the Lehman Tri- Hi-Y Club. They represented the Nation of Afghanistan. Miss Will- iams also served as a chaplain for the Assembly. This year approximately 100 Nat- ions were represented at the Model Assembly. Nearly all of the dele- gates were in costumes made by the girls themselves. Proposals based in local Tri-Hi-Y Clubs and in Dis- trict United Nations Assemblies in the Fall.
