exhibition of tumbling, gymnastic
skills and ballet type dancing Wedn-
esday evening March 7 at 8, at
Dallas Senior High School gymnas-
ium, under the sponsorship of Dal-
las High School Athletic Council.
Thomas Jenkins, faculty manager
of athletics, said this week that
Dallas Schools are fortunate to have
this exhibition since the Strouds-
burg team is booked far in advance
and has presented the exhibition
in many schools throughout the
State. Only the fortunate circum-
stance of an open date makes it
possible for the team to perform
here.
Proceeds from the event will be
used to help defray expenses of

The Antietam is one of more than

The “Friendship 7” capsule which
carried Marine Lt. Col. John H.
Glenn, Jr.,. on the history-making
'three-orbit flight was retrieved at
sea by the destroyer USS NOA

chick, Don Edwards, Walter Black,
Ward Jacquish, George Norton, and
new, member Andy Kozemchak.
Speakers were Walter Black who
talked about a famous missionary;
Don Edwards, who talked of a fam=
ous painting of praying hands, and
Keith Yeisley, who gave his first
speech, “The Ice Breaker”,
Evaluators were Bill Morgan and
John Woychick., Topic master was
Ward Jacquish.
The next meeting will be held
tonight at 8:15 at the Library An-
nex. The following assignments hava

a recent meeting. Elected alsa
