“How do you stop the telephone calls after you have sold an
item advertised in The Trading Post?” x i
This was the question asked us Friday morning by Robert Scott,
Mount Greenwood Road, who had just received amother call about
the saw he sold shortly after the paper was out Thursday morning,
“We're sorry we can’t tell you how to stop them,” we told Bob,
knowing full well that he will continue to get calls for the next week
from potential buyers who do mot realize how quickly Dallas Post
ads work, ¥
Then we asked timidly, “How many calls have you had?”
“Fourteen,” he replied. I've just had another, wish I knew
where I could pick up some more used saws for all the fellows who
want them.”

Mt. Zion church has been going
through a complete interior re-

Church service had to be held
downstairs again last Sunday. When

Grange Hall while the interior was

it all the more lively. There was no’
special entertainment program, but
with the Cheerios no formal enter-
tainment is needed. Aren't there
always a hundred things for mice
girls like that to talk about? I
imagine, but I don’t know, for I
wasn't there, that the women
talked among themselves and the
men at the other end talked over
their interests. But at the supper
their conversation flew back and
forth between bites. And their
hearts all went pitta-pat as they
thought back to the days when they
sent frilly valentines to each other
with sentimental verses on them.
