She goes into endless meticulous

will. be ‘an organ recital at Dallas
Senior High School. Miss Margery
Davis, representing the Allen Organ
Company of Macungie, will present
a program including light classical
| and serious music. Also appearing
| on the program will be Paula Scott
as soloist, accompanied by Marsha
Sowden.
The Allen organ installed in the
auditorium has attracted much
favorable comment. A revival of
interest in the organ has 'accom-
panied the perfecting of the organs
of today, now no longer cosidered
as suitable only for churches, but
to. be used at assembly programs,
as a much more varied instrument,
as accompanient to singing, or with
band and orchestra.
Lester Lewis, band director, says:
‘It can add its full-throated beau-
ty to assembly programs, its rever.
ent tones to Baccalaureate services,
or add to any community program.
