Last week I got a chance to run
over to Weatherly’'s Happy Hill;
hadn't seen him for several weeks
and that’s too long. After a most
rewarding good chat together he
told me that he and Mrs. Weatherly
had spent several days visiting son
Bruce Weatherly and family down
the monthly class meeting of the
Kings Crusaders at the Mt. Zion
church. Audrey Earl, the vice-
president presided. Plans for a bake
sale were discussed. Judy Weisker-
ger was welcomed as a guest. The
committee on entertainment and re-
freshments were Lena Hastie, chair-

THE DALLAS POST. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY §, 196:
COME GENTLE SPRING
Last Tuesday night ' Catherine
went to the first rehearsal of the
Wyoming Valley Oratorio Society. A
little amusing but highly promising
is this statement of hers: “On the
coldest night of the year we started
singing ‘Come, gentle Spring’, the
opening chorus of Haydn's “The
Seasons”, which the Wyoming Val-
ley Oratorio Society is presenting
this Spring.” As I say, from the
snatches I hear from our living
room, the work is full of promise;
and Spring, you know, is just
around the corner!

Home is getting well organized. It
is just taking on a new parish, get-
ting acquainted with all the mem-
bers. Different from a parish is the
fact that I have a list of all the
Protestant ‘parishioners’ and they
are all home when I call! The usual
problem is that I am trying to get to
know their names and faces. 1 go

ROCK POX — INCURABLE
BUT NOT FATAL!
A nice letter came from Mrs. San-

around Carverton and Mt. Zion will
still remember the times she writes
