Mrs. Mary Ashton reports that her son, William, Kingston, was discharged from the Nesbitt Hos- pital, Wednesday, and that her granddaughter, Sandra, was dis- charged from the same institution on Saturday, William having been confined on account of a kidney infection and Sandra on account of an appedectomy. Shavertown A lovely baby shower was given for Mrs. George Yatsko (the former Marie Wahlgren) at the home of her mother, Mrs. G. R. Wahlgren, Division Street. Marie came for a Sunday visit and walked into a living room filled with twenty-three women. [She had no inkling of the afternoon activities. Table decora- tions consisted of small pink and blue bassinets filled with pastel colored mums. There were miniature diapers and candy-filled cradles for favors. A crepe paper covered um- brella with tiny pink and blue ribbons completed the decorations.
