Wilkes-Barre YWCA
Sold To Carl Hedden
Carl Hedden, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Raymon Hedden of Loyalville,
purchased the Wilkes-Barre YWCA
building and adjacent property now
used for a parking lot, for the
approximate sum of $100,000. Re-
ports indicate that the five story
building with its swimming pool
wing, may be converted to an
apartment house. YMCA building on
South Franklin Street now houses
operations of the YWCA, thereby
cutting costs for both organizations.
