Give A Christmas Present
To A St. Michael's Boy
Again this year the public is cordially invited to participate in
a heartwarming, Holiday endeavor by visiting either of the two
main offices of the Pennsylvania Gas and Water Company—
41 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, or 135 Jefferson Ave., Scranton—
to place a Christmas gift under trees traditionally decorated in
honor of St. Michael's School for Boys.
The principal gift suggestions are articles of clothing for Boys
between the ages of 12 and 15. Shirts, jackets, sweaters, trousers,
shoes, underwear and articles of personal grooming are most
suitable gifts.
If checks are donated, they should be made out to “St. Michael's
Christmas Fund’ and donation boxes are located at each office.
Enjoy the wonderful gift of giving this Christmas!

Dead-Eye Jones 2
Right On Target
Dead-eye Jones has done it again.
Year before last, he got his buck’:

he made a perfect bullseye with a

B. Kirby Jones, hunting on Thurs-
day in a party of nine near Sweet;
Valley, got a spike buck weighing

Run, the buck had to be hoisted up
a steep cliff. 5
A herd of deer containing twelve
doe and a mammoth buck with enor=
mous spread of antlers, floated by:
earlier in the afternoon, with only
one shot fired at the buck befor
it crashed into underbrush and van-"
ished. In the party were Ronnie,
Dick and Paul Thomas, brothers; a
cousin Ab Thomas; Sterling Sult;
Sam Higgins, Clayton Edwards, and
