Army, recently stationed at Fort
Belvoir, Va., is spending a few
weeks with his family on Perrin
Avenue. Johnny a graduate of
Westmoreland High School '59 has
reenlisted for six years and will re-
port to an Army base in Louisiana.
Mrs. Johnson C. Miers, Sr., Verna
and Wayman Miers accompanied
Johnny to Fort Belvoir last week
and were guests at the Base for a
few days.
SCOUTS MAPPING AREA
John Butler, Scout Master Troop
32, announced that an outstanding
course in electricity has been ofr
fered to his Explorer Scouts by
Howard Miller, Fernbrook, who has
volunteered to bé the Assistant
Scout Master, The Explorers meet
each Monday Night at St. Therese’s
Church. Through Ted Hinkle and
Civil Defense, the Explorers are
learning to map out the entire Back
Mountain Area in case of enemy at-
tack. These Scouts will have in-

the 20 Explorers in Troop 32, five
have completed Red Cross First Aid
Training and fifteen remaining will
shortly take part in this training.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Carey,
Sunset Avenue, returned from
Florida Sunday evening. They
visited their daughter and son-in-
law, Pat and Jerry Middleton, in
Miami; visited Cypress Gardens,
Silver Springs and other attractions.
On their return trip they visited
their son, Eddie and his wife and
son in Philadelphia. According to
Grandma Carey their grandson is
just the “most”.
Mom! Mom! There's two
helicopters going over! This
was the call of our 12-year-old
who had not seen very many
whirlybirds before. So out went
Mom to see. Such noise they
made I said there must be an
airplane too, but a little more
watching revealed two more
shelicopters, It was some sight
and gave quite a thrill to all
the children.
Mrs. Walter Wolfe spent the
Thanksgiving holidays with Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Robbins, Princeton,
on Sunday to bring her home.

were Friday visitors of Mr. and Mrs.
