O’Malia Holds On Tight
O'Malia squeezed through a crisis
Friday night by taking 3 points from
Apex Auto, just enough to hold
its first place position in Imperial-
ettes League, as Joe's Men Shop
also took 3 from Plains Blouse and
Elston’s dropped 3 to Goodman's.
The second team was touch and
go right to the end with O'Malia
taking it ‘by 1 pin. It was a tight
spot for O’Malia, Joe's, Apex and
could have finished the night in
first, but O’Malia held on and posi-
tions changed between the others.
Joe’s holds second now with 30
points, 1 below O’Malia. Apex and
Elston are tied with 28 and De-
laney has moved up with 26 after
taking 3 from Garrity.
Top scorer was Rose Nov-
roski for Joe’s with 186-177
(509), and Gloria Grant on
same team with 187 (489).
Anita Pascavage hit 161-160-
168 (489) and Bea Carr 195-
164 (484) for O’Malia. Ege

Isaacs with 29 points and Whit-
ing’s, 28 are running a close con-
test in Bowlerettes League as the
end of the first half draws near.
Bolton’s has 23 and Monk’s brings
up the rear with 16.
Whiting’s posted 718 and Bol-
ton’s rolled 2936 pins for team
honors. A. Rogers, was featured
with 174 (451) and A. Dungey had
167 (450). D. Berlew posted one
game of 161, M. Hislop 163 and A.

week when he came through

Rudy was top scorer of St. Paul's
Brotherhood League” when he rolled
205-213 and 565 series. Gula post-
ed 194 (540); Gosart' 180; Kreid-
ler 182; Ambrose 187; Weale 193;
Moyer 185; Lewis 185; Ashman 184;
Dungey 184 and Nafus 183.
Mustangs hold top spot with 36
points after taking 3 from Badgers.
Trojans took 4 from Tigers and
moved into second with’ 30. Bull-
dogs with 3 from Panthers have 29
and Badgers 27%. Next with 27
is Tigers’ team.

dropped 4 to Parry’s. Dallas
Nursery took 8 from Jim-Jon.
Legion and Monk’s are now tied
for first with 34 each; Parry’s
has moved into second with 32
and Sheppers’ has 31Y,. Dallas
Nursery is next with 30 and
Lumbermen and Jim-Jon are
tied with 28 each.

Addy’s Loses Three
Where were those top bowlers
Saturday? First thought in every-
one’s mind was that they postponed
the match with West ‘Side Tires,
but as the team filed into Crown
Imperial after the contest, we found
that only one bowler was missing.
Oh, no! He wasn't. Nick was
there! What was the score, 400
plus what? None of the others did
Bob Moore had 202-
185 (555) and Charlie Williams led
the scoring with 212-193 (583) but
the others—Tom Gauntlett had 202.

Beaver Run Victory
Beaver Run had 4 points added
to its standings. The scores were
not the best the team has done but
they topped those of Harris & Cof-
fee. Ron Fielding rolled 223 (55 7)

(545) and Al Ciccarelli 194 (544).
Raccoons are found in great
