Loyalville
S/Sgt. E. J. Szymanski, husband
of the former Patricia Hummel, and
children, Jannine and Andrew, re-
tured from two years’ stay at Clark
Air Force Base, Luzon, Philippine
Islands. After thirty-two hours of
flight over the ocean, they landed
at Travis Air Base, California.
They motored seven days across
the states, stopping at Plymouth,
N. C., to wisit sister, Mrs. J. W.
Allen and family; from there to
Baltimore to visit brother, Dick
Hummel and family; sister, Mrs.
Norman Loebensberg and Edmund’s
mother and brothers and sisters.
They arrived home with the cou-
ple resting days with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hummel. Then
journeyed to Buffalo to visit sister,
Mrs. John Boone and family, also
brother, Luther and family who
came from Lorain, Ohio. .
A Thanksgiving dinner was held
on Sunday to celebrate Patsy’s
home-coming. They went to Roch-
ester to visit a school pal, Mrs.
Michael Colichio, the former Madlyn
Kostich of Harveys Lake and family.
They are now returning to Elgin Air
Force Base in Florida where they
will .be stationed.
Edmund, a jet engine technician,
has been in service nine years. His
home town is Baltimore, the son of
Mrs. Laura Szymanski and the late
Andrew Patsy. |He thinks there is
no place like the good old States.

itus and daughter, Rita, whose hus-
band Daniel is serving over-seas in
Paris, France.
We were sorry to hear Katherine
Scott’s mother, Mrs. ‘Shultz, is a
hospital patient in New Jersey.
