(A large flock of geese flew over Chase Manor Sunday and several deer were cavorting in the nearby fields in broad daylight. No action has been taken by the State Highway Department to place a white or yellow guide line on the Larksville Mountain Road. A line is badly needed due to the winding road and heavy fogs which some- times blanket it. The Huntsville Reservoir Road should also be mark- ed for the same reason. Governor Lawrence has consistently stressed Highway Safety and I would sug- gest that our readers drop him a line. Corp. It is reported that a doe deer was killed by a station wagon on the Ceasetown Road, last Saturday and also that a five-point buck deer was illegally shot in that region.
