SSUGTESTED RETAIL PRICE AT ALL PO
COMMUNITY MOTORS
BU 7-133
Probably the biggest news about the 62
; Dauphine is the price: $1395%. That’ s about $200
gy less than the Dauphine cost a year ago. Yet it's
got a lot of important improvements. The new
transmission, for an instance. We've synchronized
the low gear, which means you can shift down
without stopping, slide through traffic on the run.
Some other small but significant changes in
the '62 Dauphine: The engine now runs even
quieter because we've improved the piston design.
| Exteriors are dip-painted to get a protective coat-
ing into places spray painting can't reach.

Some small but important changes in the ‘62 Dauphine
We've also brought out a dolled-up model, the
Dauphine Deluxe. It’s got all-vinyl interiors, foam
rubber seats, 4-position backrests on the front
seats, two ashtrays in the back, a lot of nice
touches. It costs a little more and it’s worth it. i
Then there are some things so good we didn't
dare change them: Such as Rena
economy, up to 40 mpg. The 12-month or 12,000
mile warranty. Or the un-imitatable Dauphine style,
which makes some people ask for a repeat when
you tell them how little it costs.”
We repeat, $1395.

Indianapolis, Ivyland (near Phila.),

It’s still beautiful even with trees
bare. Now we can see neighbor
Bill Alling’s porch light twinkling
through the bare branches. On our
way home by way of Wyoming we
can now see our own lights from
half a mile down the road. We like
to look at the pond at dusk with
fading light till reflecting in the
water through the dark trees,
This last was a busy week,
preaching three nights at [Plymouth
for our friends George and Vera
Dickinson. They have two darling
children. It was the week, too, when
the storm windows needed to be in-
stalled. 1 made some with plastic
stapled to frames.

Here's wishing all you readers a
happy Thanksgiving. Even patients
in the hospital tell me they have
much to be thankful for, both be-
cause of and in spite of experiences
with oxygen tents, plaster casts,
traction, operations, needles, things
which God has inspired men t6 in-
vent to heal bodies. Having a thank-
ful spirit helps heal the soul, (No
charge for the sermon!)

Last Thursday [Mrs. Michael Clark
and I watched from her window a
pair of pine grosbeaks. - These quite
large birds are really beautiful with
very much rose color predominat-
ing, the male being brighter than
the female. The birds were within
3 feet of us, giving us an excellent
view, and they did not seem real
scerey, like some birds are; - just
kept picking seeds for food from ‘the
ground.
