eys Lake R.D.1 have announced the
birth of a son at General Hospital
on November 12.
Susan Cook
Mr. and Mr. William Cook, North
Pioneer Avenue, Shavertown, have
announced the birth of an eight
pound baby girl, Susan, at Mercy
Hospital on November 10. This is
their first little girl. Other children
are William, aged six, Michael, four
and Mark, two and a half.
Mrs. Cook is the former Eleanor
Shiiba of Kingston. Grandma Shuba
taking care of the boys while
Ceggk is son of Mrs. Mary Cook of
Trucksville.
(Mother and Susie returned to
their home yesterday.
Have New Baby Boy
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wright, High-
land Avenue, Trucksville, announce
the birth of a five pound, twelve
ounce baby boy at Nesbitt Hospital
on November 11. They have two
other boys, Dennis eleven and Brad-
ley, six.
Mrs. Wright is daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas Kupp of Lebanon.
Grandma Kupp is here taking care
of the older boys. Mr. Wright is also
a former Lebanon resident. He!is

Married Four Years
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cain, Jr. re-
cently celebrated their fourth anmi-

City. The couple was married
November 1, 1957 at First Methodist
Church, Limeridge, with Rev. Pan-
nebaker officiating. Mrs. Cain is
the former Mary Cope, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cope, Lime-
ridge. - Mr. Cain, an employee of the
Bell Telephone Co., Nanticoke, is
son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cain, Sr.

her life in Kingston, moving to
Shavertown twenty years ago.

Honors At Marywood
Two local young women were rec-
entely cited for scholarships at Mary-
wood College, Scranton, Penna.
Mary Dora Scott, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. D. T. Scott, Jr. Dallas,
and Nancy [Helen Drapiewski,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dra-
piewski, RD. 1 Sweet Valley, were
among 165 Marywood College sopho-
mores, juniors, and seniors introd-
uced to the assembly faculty and
student body at Honors Convocation
as students whose high scholastic
attainments last year ranked them
among the upper quarter of their
