TRIP PLANNING
| accessibility of
Whitesell Brothers’ newest home |
in Midway Manor, Kingston Town-
ship, will be open for public in-
spection from 2 to 5 this Sunday.
“The Ashwood,” a three-bedroom
ranch type, is expected to attract
many prospective homeowners for
several reasons.
First, this neat, compact rancher,
attractively priced at $15,400, is lo-
cated in a most desirable area, for
the homeowner with a family.
The beautiful new Dallas Area
High School, in a great extent, is
responsible for the building influx
for good schooling is a major con-
cern of parents.
The good schools, together with
the lovely pastoral countryside and
shopping areas,
churches, recreation facilities have
made Midway Manor ideal for the
family man.
One might say that “all roads
lead to Midway Manor” since it
seems to be‘located at the center of
a hub roads leading to Dallas, Har-
veys Lake, Shavertown, Trucksville,
Wyoming, Luzerne, Centermoreland
and Wilkes-Barre.
Fregidaire Appliances
Secondly, prospective home own-
ers, and we dare say ‘home decora-
tors,” too, are going to be attracted
to “The Ashwood” because it is
beautifully and artfully furnished
and decorated throughout by Town
and Country Furniture Galleries,
253 South Main Street, Wilkes-
Barre. Lovely modern Frigidaire
appliances have been installed by
Rebennack Appliances, 267 Wyo-
ming Avenue, Kigston.
Town & Country Furnishings
Nat Zeller of Town and Country
explains that this moderately priced
home has been furnished by his
organization in keeping with the
design of the home. The entrance
hall and lovely livingroom emanate
‘warmth and hospitality with toast
carpeting, correlated walls and
draperies, and French provincial
furnishings. One of the three bed-
rooms has been converted by Town
and Country into a cozy den, decor-
ated in coral with Danish furnish-
ings. Dinette is done in white
wrought iron.
The bedroom done in light laven-
dar and antique white with a
canopy bed will thrill every young
lady who sees it; the master bed-
room has lovely light turquoise
walls, beige carpeting and is furn-
ished in beautiful Italian Provincial
fruitwood.
“The Ashwood” is built according
to Whitesell Brothers high stand-
ards and includes paved driveway,
sidewalks, landscaping, septic tank
installation. Ample water is sup-
