The first class was formed at Bowman's Creek. Later, services were held in the little white schoolhouse at Noxen. An edifioe was built and dedicated lin December of 1886, and additions were made three years later. The church was remodelled in 1955, the formal opening taking place March 15, 1955, during the pastorate = of Rev. Underwood. Bishop Fred Pierce Corson was | guest of honor at a dinner.
