~ For Joseph Mundy
A High Mass of Requiem for the
late Joseph Mundy of Shavertiwn
was celebrated last Saturday morn-
ing at St. Therese’s, followed by
burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Cele-
brant was Rev. Francis T. Brennan;
deacon, Rev. Michael Rafferty of
Gate of Heaven; sub-deacon, Rev.
John P. Walsh, pastor of St. Ther-
ese’s. :
Pallbearers were nephews; Leo
Kosisker, Alfred Pecukonis, Neil Mc-
Dermott Jr., William McDermott,
Charles and Joseph Clement, Jos-
eph Reap r., and Myron Hirel.

Public Invited To
Attend Hymn-Sing
The public is invited to an old
fashioned Hymn-Sing Sunday even-
ing at 7:30 at Lehman Methodist
Church, when the three churches of
the Lehman-Jackson-Idetown Charge
will join in song and prayer.
Lehman and Idetown choirs will
have special numbers. The congre-
gation will sing twelve hymns,
Sharon Coombs will have a solo, Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Oncay a duet. Mrs.
Robert Disque of Lehman is organist,
Mrs. Loren Keller of Idetown pianist.
Rev. Leon. Bouton, district super-
intendent, will speak Rev. Norman
Tiffany will preside.

Trucksville Methodist Bazaar will
feature a snack bar today, and to-
morrow there will be a cafeteria
supper offering a choice of chicken
or fish. Doors open at 2 p.m. both
days, and a door prize will be a-
warded each night.

Andrew W. Roberts, Fernbrook,
will be buried today at Fern Knoll,
following services conducted at 2
p.m, by Rev. Andrew Derrick, Pas-
tor of Glen View Primitive Metho-
dist Churh from the Williams
Funeral Home,
Mr. Roberts, 60, a patient for one
day at General Hospital, died Mon-
day afternoon. He had been in fail-
ing health for some years, retiring
in December of 1956 from the feed
salesman business. He had been
with Penn Flour and Feed Company,
and Sickerman Feed and Grain.
A native of Courtdale, son of the
late Andrew and Mary Zummers
Oravitz, he moved to the Dallas
area in 1936,
Surviving are: his widow, the
former Margaret Barnhart of Kings-
‘ton; children: William and LeRoy,
Dallas; David, Caldwell, N.J.; Ar-
thur, Fernbrook; Jack, Center More-
land; Mrs. Bert Hadsall, Candwell,
N.-J.; Mrs. Robert Williams, Wilkes-
Barre; Mrs, Robert Shultz, Green-
land, N. H.; eighteen grandchildren.

Dies At Mercy
Mrs. Alice Bombick, Chase Road,
died at Mercy Hospital Friday after-
noon. She was buried Tuesday
morning in [Sacred Heart Cemetery,
following services from the home,
and a requiem mass celebrated by
Rev. Richard Frank at Gate of
Heaven Church,
Born in Kingston, daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Mi-
zenko, she attended Kingston
Borough Schools. She belonged to
Gate of Heaven Parish, and the
Altar and Rosary Society.
She leaves her husband John;
four children: John Jr., Mrs. Edward
Havrilla, Shavertown; Donald, with
the Air Force in [Panama City,
Florida; Robert, at home; three
grandchildren; a sister, Mrs, Mary
Hanuschick, Yardville, ‘N. J.; two
brothers: Michael, Dorchester, Mass.;
and Stephen, Kingston.
