Bogdan, Sr. Burial services were conducted last Saturday for John T. Bogdan Sr. of Fernbrook from the Williams funeral home, followed by a Mass of Reg- uiem at Gate of Heaven Church, celebrated by Rev. Francis A. Kane. Interment was at St. Mary’s ceme- tery. Holy Name Society recited the Rosary Friday night. Mr. Bogdan, 53, whose death not- ice was received last week at press time, “died Wednesday morning in the City Hospital, Boston, a few minutes before completion of a ser- ious heart operation. Son: of the late John and Frances Bogdan, he was born at Breslau, living there for forty years before moving to Mildred. Residence in Mildred was four years, before he moved to Fernbrook. For thirteen years he was chief engineer with the Merchant Mar- ine. He belonged to Gate of Heaven Church and its Holy Name Society.
