The Rev. and Mrs. Robert Wood, daughter Sally and her girl friend stopped for a visit at the Gilberts on Thursday. They are from Nichol- son and formerly occupied the Meth- odist parsonage at Carverton for over ten years. We found a strange form of life recently which Catherine identified in her insect book as a mole cric- ket. Has front feet like a mole! We haven't identified all the tenants on this place apparently, come a new one every once in awhile. I didn’t dream we’d be having cardinals on the feeder ‘all summer and their songs in the tree tops. “Our” moon last Friday night went through a mnear-total. eclipse right before our eyes. Clouds pulled away from time to time so that we saw the shadow of our earth creep across the moon. We only own an acre of land up here at Dunmovin but we have all the sky we want!
