Beaumont Wins, 8-3
‘With shortstop Dick Searfoss
providing the offensive punch and
Alex Wilson continuing his fine
hurling Beaumont downed Wya-
lusing 8-3.
Wilson allowed eight hits but had
the strikeout pitch when necessary.
He now has recorded 39 strikeouts
in his last three outings.
Besides Searfoss going four-for=
four, Brobst, Larry Crispell and Du-
boise each chipped in with two
hits apiece as Beaumont collected
14 safeties. :
Wyalusing had knotted the game
at 3-all in the seventh on a home-
run by Keeny, but Beaumont
bounced right back with a five-run
rally toe the game.
Beaumont travels to Harding on
Sunday for a game scheduled for
2 o'clock.
