Bombick, who celebrated their
fourth birthday, Friday, at the
‘home of their maternal grandpar-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Katchmar
Chase Road. Sgt. Bombick who is
on leave from Greenland was on
hand to help them celebrate. Mrs.
Bombick and her twin sons are
living with her parents while her
husband is on duty out of the coun-
try.
Sgt. Bombick intends to make a
career of the Service and states that
while the days are long and nice in
Greenland, he was glad to be back
to the good old U.S.A. His service
stretch in’ Greenland will expire in |
August when ‘he will

The Mediterranean
CAMP LEJEUNE, N. C. (FHTNC)
—Nine-hundred men of the Second
Marine Division returned to Camp
Lejeune, N. C., May 16, following a
six-month tour of duty with the
Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean.
Among them was Marine Pvt.
Edward R. Keefe, son. of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred R. Keefe, Dallas, R.D. 3.]
While © in the Mediterranean
area, the 900 man force-in-readi-
ness participated in amphibious
landings on the islands of Sardinia
and Crete.
