Mr. and Mrs. Harold T. Bertram,
Chase Road, Trucksville, have an-

daughter, Janice Ann, to William
Joseph Lopasky of Lehman. The
ceremony was’ performed on April
4, 1961, in St. Aloysius Church by
Reverend John O'Haire. ‘
‘Mrs. Lopasky is an alumna: of
Lehman High School, attended Wyo=
ming Seminary, and is a Senior at
College Misericordia.
Mr. Lopasky is an alumnus of
Lehman High School and West Vir-
ginia University. At present he is
stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
In July he will rejoin the San Fraa-
cisco Forty Niners in professional
football.
Mr. and Mrs. Lopasky are now
residing ‘in Browns Mills, N. J.

Doll-Dress Material
Needed For Ruction
Mrs. Arthur Newman, in charge of
dressing dolls for the Library Auc-
tion, asks that people who have
materials for doll-dressing, nylon
stockings for stuffing dolls,” plastic
bags and gift boxes, also dolls or
money for buying dolls, get their
contributions to her as speedily as
possible.
Mrs. Newman would like help in
finishing doll clothing and packing.
Also she hopes to find two women
who will serve as co-chairmen.
Charles James Thomas
Mr. and Mrs. William J. Thomas,
Jr., Parma, Ohio, have announced
the birth of an eight pound boy,
Charles James, May 28. They have
another son, David, aged four.
Mrs. Thomas is the former Mar-
ilyn Shaver, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Milford Shaver of Dallas. Mr.
Thomas is a former Shavertown
man. He is with the Univac Divis-
ion of Sperry Rand. Mrs. Shaver
will leave this weekend to spend
some time with the Thomases.
Joy Ann Case
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Case, Canis-
teo, N. Y., announce the birth of
a daughter, Joy Ann, May 1, in Hor-
nell Hospital. The couple had two
sons, Gary and Thomas. Mrs. Case
is the former Ruth Johnson, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude John-
son. Mr. Case is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Case.

Vassar Next Monday
Elizabeth Prescott Ruggles, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Rug-
gles, Jr. Haddonfield Farm, Dallas,
is a candidate to receive the A.B.
degree from Vassar College at its
97th Commencement on June 5.
Vassar this year is celebrating the
centennial of its founding in 1861.
