Exhibitions of fighting, maneu- vers and markmanship with Civil War equipment and tactics will be a sidelight of the 3-day cele- bration. A children’s pet and hoh- by parade will be held Friday. Live and mounted animals, al- ways popular with everyone, and « tanks and fish, loaned by the Penn- sylvania Fish Commission, will be on display at the Wellsboro Armory. Industrial = exhibits and hand craftmanship will also be featured here. Kittle, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Kittle, Route 1, Sweet Valley, completed the light-vehicle driver course at [Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., May 18. Kittle was taught to drive and perform maintenance on light mili- tary vehicles. He entered the Army last Decem- ber and received basic training at Fort Knox, Ky. : Ruction Antiques Group To Stage Tea June 14 Members of the Back Mountain Memorial Antiques Committee will meet with Mrs. Russell Frantz, Hickory Hill Farm, Wednesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. for what will be the only formal meeting of the group. Tea will be served, and there will be a display of antiques for the block. It is hoped that each member will bring one antique. Members are. asked to keep their donations in their own home until June 22 and 23, when the stall for Antiques at the Barn will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each member of the committee is responsible for donation of three nice antiques, with one of them pre- ferably furniture. The accent this year will be on quality, not quan- tity. A number of very good things have already been promised.
