Sorry, couldn't get time to rustle
up news last week; nothing going
on—but Wyoming ‘Annual Confer- |
ence at Kingston, and I'm still a
member and expected to attend.
It was a significant thing the Con- |
ference did on Sunday afternoon '
when among others our own pastor’s
wife; Mrs; William Reid, was or-
dained a deacon. She was already a
licensed local preacher having pur-!
sued the studies required. Now two |
years more and she can be ordained |
| Elder. Mrs. Reid, like her Droechen | Elementary School 7th and 8th
Born to Mr. and Mrs. George R. husband, is also a student of the... j.q were going to visit the Ran-
spiritual life.
No news. But I should know that !
other matters do go on. For in-'
stance, since our organist, Sandy
Saunders, could not play on Sunday
we askel Mrs. Ralph Weatherly to
pinch hit, I'm sure she did well, for
she was organist at Grace Church,
Kingston, for years. Our family as
usual attended the Conference
church to hear the Bishop preach.
So we didn’t hear Mrs. Weatherly
play, and I'm sure we missed a
treat.

The County Road near the Filter
Station is in dangerous condition
due to the height of the patching
on the right side of the road lead-
ing to Hillside. This causes cars to
veer to the left and possibly cause
an accident with an approaching
car. This particular patching should
actuallly saw them, and in fact, ate
be cut down and leveled for safety’s |
sake.
