Mrs. Nelson's Death Shock To Her Friends Mrs. Lydia Nelson’s sudden death Saturday morning at her home on Parrish Street was a shock to her friends, who had seen: her in ap- parent good health on Friday. Mrs. Nelson had been under the care of a doctor for three months for a heart condition. She and her husband N. She was. active in the community and in ‘church affairs, attending Dallas - Methodist Church, and took part in school and civic activities. She was a past president of Dallas PTA, and belonged to auxiliaries of Dr, Henry M. Laing Fire Co. and American Legion, of the late ‘John and Lydia Ayre, lived in: Atlantic. City and the Heights - in’ «Wilkes-Barre before moving to Dallas in 1923. . She is survived by her husband; a daughter .and three sons: Mrs. Frederick Drake, and Nelson E.
