After suffering a bout with the
virus the past week Glenn, Kocher
is able to return to his work this
week.

Hill, visited John’s sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Orri-

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Maddock,
Atlantic City, are visiting their aunt
and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Hoppes. Mr. Hoppes is very ill at
his home on Baer Street.
Mr. and Mrs. George Dendler
spent a couple days the past week
visiting their daughter and family,
Mr. ahd Mrs. Jobe Derhammer of
Little Meadows. On Saturday Mrs.
Derhammer and Mrs. Dendler ate
tended a shower for Mrs. Dendler's
great granddaughter, - Christine
Streidinger who is to be married in
June. Her grandmother, Mrs. Harold
Frantz, West Dallas, was hostess,

Last Wednesday Charles Gilbert’
was delighted with a long wisit at
Dun Movin with Henry (Ferris, from
Lake Ariel, a clossmate at Wyoming
Seminary. '
On Friday the Gilberts from Mt.
Zion drove down to Philadelphia
and brought home daughter Dorothy
who will now make her headquarters J
with her folks.
Mrs. David Perry has been shut,
in for some time with trouble in her
knee. ’
Dr. and Mrs. Lowell N. Lewis of
2981 Ronald St. Riverside, Calif«
ornia, announce the birth of a son,’
Bradley Richard on April 29 in
Community Hospital, Riverside. They
also have a daughter, Beth Ann.
Mrs. Lewis is the former Alice Nich-
olson, daughter of Mrs. Richard Nich-
olson of West Pittston. Dr. Lewis is
the son of Mr. and Mrs, Nelson
Lewis of Mt. Zion.
Sunday morning Rev. Charles Gil~
bert accompanied his daughter Dor-
othy, to Taylor Methodist Church
where she gave the morning address
on the work of the church in Africa.
She also talked to children and youth
groups alSo adult classes in the
Sunday School following the morn-
ing worship.
Sunday evening (at 6:30 she spoke
at a family might gathering at the
Moscow Methodist church. Frien

of Major and Mrs, Cummins and son,
David. The Cummins purchased a
home on Carverton Road, Trucks.

Oscar Dymond, Overbrook Avenue,
on their way home from Florida last
