Re-Elected To Board
Jay Long of Selinsgrove, formerly
of Sweet Valley, has been elected to
serve a second term on the Board
of Directors of the Susquehanna
Valley Youth For Christ. The or-
become one of the largest organiza-
tions in the East.
Youth For Christ rallies are held
every Saturday evening at eight
o'clock in the newly-built Sunbury
High School Auditorium. The or-
ganization sponsors a radio broad-
cast Saturday evenings and has
formed Youth For Christ Bible Clubs
in area High Schools. Mr. Long, a
teacher in the Selinsgrove Area High
School, is club advisor to the Bible
Club of that school.
Both Mr, and Mrs. Long have be-
come active in Christian work in
the Sunbury area. They are members
of the Community Fellowship
Church of Sunbury of which Rev.
James Ney of the “Paul and Jim”
