Berti’s Roll 1002 Game
Bill Allabaugh fired his third 600
series in as many nights with 252
(616). The 252 game gave Berti
& Son a middle game of 1002 pins for
third place high in the League. R.
Stair 204 (564) and T. Wilson 199
(533) did their share for Berti’s. For
Michael & Son it was H. Ehret 184
(534) and B. Hanson 180 (515). The
“Diggers” pulled in the last game
by four sticks.
West Side Novelty started to pick
up the slack in CROWN' MAJOR
League by taking the measure. of
Birth’s for 4 big points. Chill Wil-
liams rolled 216 (600) and showed
strong signs of coming out of a
slight slump. C. Molley 205 (559);
B. Hoblak 183 (528); and M. Parntt
183 (526) helped push West Side
in the win column. Al Bellas 220
(544); N. Buynak 199 (552) and A.
the grade for Birth’s.
Shavertown Lumber made things
rough for Dallas Post as the Printers
went to the line with four men.
Jim Lohman with 213 (554); J.
Knecht 192 (550) and C. Nafus 187
(515) were, “just enough to ‘take
first game. Shavertown Lumber took
last game by one stick as “Mush”

Luigi's Pizzeria. Jack Yanik was
the big man with 223 (614) followed
by T. Gauntletf 214 (560); H. Lyons
189 (546) and B. Moore 200 (517).
Joe Shalata 225 (554) and C. Rob-
erts 173 (509) were everything for
Luigi’s as the place literally rained
splits (testimonial will be given by
D. Richards and L. Reese if anyone
cares to listen).
It was Dallas Nursery again for 4
points and they did it with four men
against Jim-Jon Tomatoes. Cliff Gar-
tis 214 (573) and F. Kardell 194
(555) were the difference as the
Nursery gang pulled every game out
of the fire in the last frame. Jim-
Jon had Panky Stolarik 194 (533);
J. Thomas 186 (520); and A. Matte
187 (512) fighting right to the wire,
but it just wasn’t in the book for
Jim-Jon that night.
