en. On Sunday Nelson Rogers and
daughter Ruth were dinner guests

Thanksgiving weekend with Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Rice. Their granddaugh-
ter Brenda Rice returned home to
school after an illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ward had
as guest last week Mrs. Clara Lynch
of Upper Darby. Other guests at
the Ward home on Thanksgiving
were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Ward and
daughter Lee Ann of Easton, Pa.
Mrs. Donald Williams Jr., of Ply-
mouth, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wil-
liams Sr. and children spent the
Thanksgiving weekend with Major
and Mrs. R. E. Van Gordon of Wash-
ington, D. C. Mrs. Donald Williams
Jr. left on Sunday for Ota Lacka,
Florida, where her husband Private
First Class Donald Williams is sta-
tioned.
Tommy, young son of Mr. and
Mrs. Clifford Davis, was a patient in
the Nesbitt Hospital.

Boys and girls of the 4-H Club in
Harding, were entertained at a Tur-
key Banquet, in Mt. Zion Methodist
Church, on Monday last.
Centermoreland Baptist Church
holds choir practice every Thursday
night at 6:30, after which the young
‘people stay for prayer meeting.
| They are also practicing for their
Christmas Program every Saturday
afternoon at 2:30.
The Christmas program of the
Centermoreland Baptist Church, will
be Saturday December 22 at 7:30
p.m.
Auxiliary of Harding Hose Com-
pany will hold its Christmas Ban-
quet at Harris’ Restaurant on De-
cember 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

as teacher for Mrs. Avis Kocher for
several days this week.

taking their State Board examina-
