Men’s Bible Class of Lehman
Methodist Church met at the home
of Gordon Dawe; assistant host and
hostess were Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Oncay.

Lehman Methodist Church his. re-
organized its choir, splitting it to
form a Chancel Choir whose mem-
bers are of school age and a Senior
Choir consisting of those people
above high school. Both choirs
would like to have some new. mem-
bers and anyone interested is wel-
come to come to practice on Thurs-
day night at 7:30.

Shangraw, counselor. It was an-
nounced that next Monday is the
deadline for new members.

The names of Mr. and Mrs. James
Davenport of Lehman were inadver-
tently omitted from the guest list
appended to the account of Mr. and
Mrs. George Weintz’ anniversary
dinner held October 27 at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harvey.

Golden Eagles Sighted
From Hawk Mountain
Saturday’s migration at Hawk
Mountain near Tamaqua included
125 red-tail hawks, two golden eag-
les, two goshawks, two coopers, two
sharpshins, twenty loons, both red-
throated and common, and 3 to 400
geese, all lifted by the strong North-
west wind.
