Mrs. Ralph Fitch Applies
Psychology To Collection
Mrs. Ralph Fitch, visiting homes
on Huntsville Road between Daven-
port and Jackson Streets, for the
United Fund Drive, has met with
outstanding success, according 'to
Mrs. Lewis Reese. Mrs. Fitch com-
bined an earnest approach with
common sense. ‘If you contribute
“and get a receipt for that amount,
you have a water-tight reason for
not contributing to any supplemen-
tary drive that may be launched
in case the drive does not make
its quota.”
She goes on to explain that the
amount can be paid over a period
of time, and that twelve dollars
distributed over several months
isn’t a burden, barely noticeable in
fact. Not even a quarter a week,
if it is easier to collect it in a piggy
bank on the installment plan.
