Plays Buttonwood Away This Sunday Dallas Legion Baseball team will travel to Buttonwood on Sunday to take on the Buttonwood Cubs. Dallas will be trying for its tenth win of the season at the Cubs ex- pense and a win here will help tack down the pennant for the Dallas Legionnaires. Dallas took the measure of the Riverside AC at Edgewater Park in Nanticoke on Sunday as Gus Dol- chak turned in a neat two hitter for his third win of the season. With fine support behind him, Dol- chak was never in trouble and faced only 28 batters. Harry Grose, back in the line up, after missing last week’s game came up with two hits as did Johnny Dorish. Dallas played its usual steady game and jumped on Chet Molley for two runs in the first stanza and then were never headed as they picked up single runs in the third and eighth and four runs in the seventh for a final score of 8-2, A note on Ken Kraynak, former Dallas Club.
