JUNE 15, 1956 Mary Shangraw Will Instruct Named Girls’ Worker For YMCA Da-Camp Mrs. Mary Shangraw of West Main Street, Trucksville, has been named the Girls Worker for the Back Mountain Branch YMCA’s Da- Camp, which is set to open for three two-week periods, starting July 2. Mrs. Shangray has her B. S. Degree in Elementary Education from Ju- niata College and is at present teaching in Shavertown = Grade School. Robert D. Yost, chairman of the Back Mountain “Y” Youth Program, expressed pleasure in se- curing a person so ideally adapted. Back Mountain Da-Camp is open to boys and girls, 8 to 14 years of age. A well balanced program of games, sports, handicrafts, singing, hikes, tours, swimming, nature study, movies and stories, has been planned. Gail Woolbert, Chosen Editor Of Year Book Gail Woolbert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Woolbert, North Main Street, Shavertown, has been chos- en editor of Susquehanna Univer- sity’s year book, The Lanthorn, for the coming year. Gail, a member of the Junior Class, is an English major, feature editor of the school newspaper, Sec- retary of the Junior Class, Secre- tary-Treasurer of the Women’s Stu- dent Council, and one of six girls appointed by the Dean of Women to be a counsellor in the Freshman girls’ dormitory, Hassinger Hall.
