Gold Butter Cake A pinch of mace gives this cake the special flavor. Y% cup butter 1 cup sugar 1% teaspoon lemon extract Pinch of mace 1% cups flour 1% teaspoons baking powder: 4 eggs well beaten Cream butter and sugar. Add flavorings. Sift flour and baking powder and add to creamed mix- ture. Add eggs. Beat until well blended with electric mixer. Turn into greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake in 350° oven for 55 minutes. ¢ Fudge 4 cups of sugar 1 can milk 14 pound butter Combine ingredients and cook stirring occasionally until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat and add 2 packages chocolate chips. Stir until all are melted. Add 7 ounce jar marshmallow fluff, 1 teaspoon van- illa and nuts if desired.
