Mr. and Mrs. Ben Banks Entertain Old Ladies The lovely summer residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Banks, Pole 15, Harveys Lake, was the setting for a day of gaiety and relaxation for twenty-eight guests from the Old Ladies Home, Carey Avenue, Wilkes- Barre, Thursday. This was their fourth annual outing at the Banks home and a day that is anticipated with much enthusiasm. Transportation from Wilkes-Barre to Harveys Lake was provided by the Wilkes-Barre Lions Club and friends and wives of Club mem- bers assisted Mrs. Banks with prepa- rations for the occasion. The Rev. Willard Edmunds, pastor of the Par- sons Baptist (Church and Chaplin of the Wilkes-Barre Lions Club, was on hand to conduct games during the afternoon and to see that everyone was having a good time.
