wienski, take notice that a petition
has been filed in the Orphans Court
of Luzerne County to establish the
death by absenteeism of Kazimierz
Gutwienski to No. 969 of 1954, and
that the Orphans Court of Luzerne
County has set September 29, 1954,
at 10 o'clock A. M., in the Orphans
Court Chambers, Wilkes-Barre, as
the time and place for the hear-
ing on said petition at which time
and place any person interested in
the said matter before the Court
may be present and be heard.

Sealed proposals for furnishing a
two-way radio communications sys-
tem to the Township of Lake, Lu-
zerne * County, Pennsylvania, will
be received by the Board of Super-
visors until 8 P. M., D. S. T., August
28, 1954, in accordance with the
specifications on file in the office
of Otto A. Biery, Township Secre-

tary, Harveys Lake, Pennsylvania.
Proposals must be made on the
blank form provided and to be ob-
tained from the Secretary. Blank
spaces must be filled in as noted
and no changes shall be made in
the phraseology of the proposal, or
in the items mentioned therein.
Fach proposal must be accom-
panied by a money deposit in the
form of a certified check, in an
amount equal to at least five per-
cent (5%) of the bid, on any State
or National bank, made payable to
the Treasurer of Lake Township, as
a guarantee that the successful bid-
der will enter into a contract with
the Township within ten (10) days
after having been awarded the
same.
The Board of Supervisors reserves
the right to reject any and all pro-
posals or to advertise for new bids,
if, in the opinion of the Board, the
best interests of the Township will
be promoted by such action.
