Carl Hedden, who is spending the
summer as an exchange student in
Germany, has written that he is
living with a German family and. ex-
pected to leave August 5 on a two-
weeks camping trip to the Italian
Alps with two of the boys of the
family.
Explorer Scouts
To Go On Flight
Explorer Scouts in good standing
have a good chance of taking an
actual flight sometime in September,
when the 9543d Volunteer Air Force
Training Squadron takes several
large planes to Wilmington, Del,
September 12. A visit to Red Rock
Radar Station is contemplated for
August, and a trip to the Air Depot
in Harrisburg in October.

and then disappear. They called
State Police who found the bodies
about three hours later.
The drownings were the third
and fourth in Wyoming County this
year, Lake Carey and Lake Winola
having had similar tragedies. The
deaths raised to ten the list of
persons dying from accidental
deaths in that county since Me-
morial Day.
