by the Dallas Borough - Kingston
Township Joint School District for
the furnishing of GENERAL, ART,
JANITOR, SCIENCE, INDUSTRIAL
ARTS, PHYSICAL EDUCATION sup-
plies and COAL. All prices or bids
for supplies are to be f. o. b. Dallas,
Pennsylvania. All prices or bids for
coal are to be f. o. b. the coal bins
of the four school buildings.
All proposals must be in the

Notice is hereby given that the
Board of Supervisors of the Town-
ship of Lake, Luzerne County,
Pennsylvania, intends to adopt a
Realty Transfer Tax ordinance at a
regular meeting to be held on Sat-
urday, March 6, 1954, at 7:30 P.M.
in the Township Fire Building, Lake
Township, imposing a tax of one
(1%) percent on sales involving
the transfer of title of real prop-
erty located in said Lake Township
for the year 1954, and every year
thereafter until rescinded, for gen-
eral revenue purposes.
Said ordinance will provide ‘ for
the collection of said tax and for
the enforcement of collection of
said tax. The Board anticipates the
sum of $2,500.00 per year from said
source, which is needed to balance
the budget without levying an. ex-
cessive real estate levy.
