BUDGET NOTICE
The proposed school budgets for
Dallas Borough, Kingston Town-
ship, and for the Dallas Borough-
Kingston Township Joint School
Districts were adopted Monday eve-
ning, June 1, 1953. These tentative
budgets are for the fiscal school
year beginning the first Monday in
July, 1953.
All three proposed budgets are
available for public inspection at
the administration offices of the
joint school district at Dallas, to
all persons who may interest them-
selves.
Final adoption of the budgets will
be made at the regular meetings
of the school boards in the school
administration offices at Dallas on
Monday evening, July 6, 1953.
As required by Act 193, Public
School Code 1951, every resident
or inhabitant of the school district,
upon attaining the age of twenty-
one and every person twenty-one
years of age or over becoming a
resident or inhabitant of the school
district shall notify the local asses-
sor of this fact within twelve
months thereafter. Failure to com-
ply with this requirement subjects
the individual to a penalty equal
to the tax for which he is liable.
