death of [Fred Bredbenner in
Amenia, N. Y. Friday night. His
widow is the former Leora Allen.

ris Baster Sunday,

Edwardsville, spent Monday with
the parents, Mr, and Mrs. ‘Charles
Updyke. His many friends will be
glad to know that Rev. Updyke’s
health is improving.

Lehman ‘Girl Scouts, 156, and
Brownies, 163, will enjoy a day's
adtivity tomorrow, starting at Leh-
man Methodist Church at 10. A trip
is planned to Back Mountain Mem-
oriial Library, followed by a cook-
out at Mrs. Harry Rossman’s home
in Idetown at noon, (Children will
return to the church for a Juliette
Low party, and a light supper will
be served with parents as guests.
Mester of ceremonies for the eve-
ming program is Jean Carol Dodson.
