Board of Supervisors of the Town-
ship of Lake, Luzerne County,
Pennsylvania, intend to pass a
Resolution at a regular meeting to
be held on April 4, 1953, at 10:00
A. M. in the Township Fire Build-
ing, Lake Township, imposing an
amusement or admission tax for
general purposes on any and all
amusements conducted within the
boundaries of the Township of
Lake at the rate of ten (10%)
percent on the proceeds on any
and all amusement fees or admis-
sions fees to raise an estimated
thirty seven hundred and fifty
($3750.00) dollars to meet in-
creased operating costs: requiring
the filing of returns and the giving
sons, firms and corporations sub-
ject to the said tax, the duty of
collecting said tax at source: pro-
viding for the administration, col-
lection and enforcement of said
tax, and imposing penalties: said
resolution will establish regulations
for the collection of said tax.
