ter, Mrs. Edward Porter May, in
New York (City. They were joined
by their two sons, John D. Jr. from
Bridgeport, and Edward C. from

Rev. Joseph Sproule, pastor of
Dallas Free Methodist (Church, has
returned to his home after spending
Thanksgiving in Philadelphia,

Run, spent last Friday with her

Hayden Richards celebrated his
birthday on Tuesday. Born in Nan-

Mrs. Helen Walker has returned

after spending several days with

is now able to be out again.

Baltimore, Md., announce the birth
of a nine ‘and a half pound son,
Michael, December 7 at St. Joseph's
Hospital. This is their first child.
Mrs. Mahoney is the former Mildred
Borton of Harveys Lake.

At a very pretty wedding, Ada
V. Gordon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lawrence Gordon of [Pike's Creek,
became ‘the bride of Ronald Kin-
ney, son of Mr. @nd Mrs.
Kinney, of Hunlock [Creek R.D. [Sun-
day evening at 7:30, Rev. Oscar
Saxe performed the double ring
ceremony in the Maple Grove Meth-
odist Church before an altar banked
with white chrysanthemums and
ferns, He was assisted by Rev. Ever-
ett Lord. Mrs, [Cletus Holcomb
played the wedding march, anid Mrs.
Treva Brobst sang ‘Because’ and
“The Lord's Prayer”.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore gray suit trimmed
with blue velvet and blue velvet
accessories and carried a Colonial
bouquet of red roses centered with
a white gardenia.

Returns From Germany
Cpl. Ernest E. Montross, son of
Mr, and Mrs. Floyd Montross of
Noxen, fs returning to the U.S.
from Germany for release from ac-
tive Army duty.
He had been stationed on Augs-
burg Military [Post since August
1951 with the 11th [Field Hospital.
Montross, a graduate of Noxen
High School, entered the Army in
January 1951. He was employed as
a woodworker for Ruggles Lumber
[Co. before entering the service,
Mrs. Ziba Howell returned Tues-
day to her home on E, Center Street,
IShavertown, after spending last
week iat Mineola, L.I. where she
