SHAVERTOWN BIBLE CHURCH
“MIRACLE OF PROVIDENCE” a
documentary sound film will be
shown lat the Shavertown Bible
Church on Wednesday. at 7:45.
“MIRACLE OF PROVIDENCE,”
filmed almost entirely on the Provi-
dence Bible Institution campus fea-
ures President Howard W. Ferrin
and a cast including hundreds of
students, The film twas produced by
Dave Ferrin and sound recording
was done by a recently developed
method which insures accurate and
pleasing sound quality.
Based on the promises of God—
a definite answer to [believing
priayer— ‘MIRACLE OF PROVI-
DENCE” inspires the faith of all who
see it.

BEAUMONT ADVENTIST
Seventh-day Adventists of Beau-
mont and vicinity will Saturday
close their annual “Week of Prayer
and Devotion” with special services
scheduled for the 3 o'clock worship
service, reports Horace Reading,
pastor.
A personal message from the in-
ternational president of the Gen-
eral Conference of Seventh-day Ad-
ventists, William H. Branson,
Washington, D. C., will highlight
the morning program. The mes-
sage, ‘God Calls for Entire Conse-
cration,” will be read by the pastor
and comments will be made in a
short address.
The program for the local church
will begin at 1:30 o'clock with a
Sabbath school program under the
direction of Arthur Kibler, super-
intendent.
Leo Bukeaviches Are
Married Thirty Years
Mr. and Mrs, Leo [P. Bukeavich,
Spring Gardens, * Trucksville, cele-
brated their thirty-third wedding
anniversary with a family dinner at
their home on Thanksgiving Day.
Mrs. Bukeavich is the former
Rose Lavage lof Pringle, daughter of
the late Mr, and Mrs, (Clement Lav-
age. Mr. Bukeayich is son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bukeavich
of Edwardsville. The couple was
married by Rev. J. E, Gryczka in
|S, Hedwig’s Church, Kingston, Mr.
Bukeavich is employed as carpenter
foreman @t the Woodward Colliery.
There are three children: Alfred a
graduate of LaSalle (College and now
a junior at University of Pennsyl-
vania Medical School, Leo who
works as carpenter at Woodward
IColliery and Rosemary, a student at
St. Mary’s High [Schiool.
The Bukeaviches are members of
St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church,
Kingston.

Lady Toby Rebekah Lodge,
Trucksville, will hold its annual
[Christmas Party on (Wednesday at
Trucksville Fire Hall following its
business meeting at 8.
Lady Dallas and Luzerne Lodges
will be guests, Fifty cent gifts will
be exchanged and there will be en-
tertainment and refreshments, All
members of Lady Toby Rebekah
Lodge are asked to bring sand-
wiches.
The party will be open to pro-

ficers are miot lasked to wear uni-
forms due to the Christmas Party.

Architect Thomas Atherton has
designed two attractive stone pil-
lars to be erected at the gateway
to the Bird Sanctuary on Center
Hill Road which was willed to Wy-
oming Seminary by the late [Sara
Wiyicoff.
