Lawson, president of Upsala College, East Orange, N. J., spoke on “The Word of Life in Living Language.” He reviewed the history of the Bible, emphasiz- ing the fact that the revision was historical in that it was the first time in 340 years that a translation of the Bible had been universally recognized.
